Marcell Haywood is an entrepreneur and business executive whose core business and investment strategy centers on scalable ventures that specifically target the intersection of technology and age-old service industries.

Marcell is the Founder & CEO of Encompass, a national provider of facility management software and services founded while earning his graduate degree in college. In his role as Founder & CEO, Marcell has made it a point to provide better opportunities to service professionals across the markets Encompass serves.

He is also the CEO of Thesis Holdings, a diversified holding company with equity interests in a range of SaaS and traditional service businesses. Through his role as CEO of Thesis Holdings, Marcell is a Board Member and investor in a number of its portfolio companies.

Marcell has been recognized for his leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit by a multitude of organizations and media outlets including:

His community involvement reaches beyond the entrepreneurship arena. A graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXVIII, Marcell volunteers his time to mentor young entrepreneurs as a former board member of Entrepreneurs Organization and FAU Tech Runway.

Marcell studied at Florida State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a master’s degree in information technology in addition to receiving continuing executive education at London Business School. He is considered a subject matter expert and is asked to  participate regularly as a guest speaker in local and national business conferences.

In his free time, Marcell loves traveling with his son, Lincoln, daughter, Avery and wife, Natalie. He also thoroughly enjoys team sports and is an avid scuba diver. Marcell believes that the key to living a meaningful life is to aim high in purpose and do something that you truly love with people who share your vision and values.
